I have lived in Perth, in the great country of Australia, since I was 28. I have two awesome kids and a lovely wife. In 1983, when I was 14, my family and I left Zimbabwe to move to New Zealand. I still have many very fond memories of Zimbabwe and its lovely people, both black and white.

This site is not about me though. Here is a brief story about how it came to be:

On Saturday the 3d of May 2008 I sat down to write a letter to the UN, to express my frustration at the dreadful, even despicable situation in Zimbabwe, and especially about the lack of action in the face of overwhelming evidence of the atrocities happening to the people there.

I abandoned the letter half way through when I realised that there was another, more effective way to act. This was to provide a way so that not only my voice would be heard but that of others as well, to unite the protests of the people of all nations. This is of course this site, started on 9/05/2008, when I sent an email to my mates who sent it to their friends who sent it to you maybe. Through the channel of the Internet the people's voices will grow louder and louder, till the whole world, not just the UN, hears clearly this chorus for action.

So that's it for "About Us" for now, because it really isn't about me or the other people's voices, it's about the people of Zimbabwe. The ones that are hungry, destitute, maimed and frightened for their lives.

I ask each person to try for a moment to imagine it was YOU or one of YOUR FAMILY that was beaten up, bleeding and aching from the arrest, in a stinking cell, hearing the screams and waiting for your turn to be tortured.

So go on...consider your most effective action! Whoever YOU are, get going with it and do something to make this a better world.
