People Power      Makes it happen.

Mudengu-mudengu, dura rinozara!

Dengu is Shona for a small container made of reeds. Dura is a grain store. You fill a big grain store with loads from such a container...

......many Small deeds achieve big results!

We are calling on everybody who is a position to spare some effort in helping in this cause. I encourage you to concider how best you can effect change for the situation in Zimbabwe. Your effort doesn't have to be a big one -it's all our combined efforts that will add up to something great.

Here are a few suggested ways you can make that effort:

World Awareness Campaign

This campaign started with emailing friends and word of mouth. It's amazing how something so simple can be so effective. So if you haven't already done so email your friends, start a conversation with somebody in your everyday business, or ring your mum and tell her.

If you are a bit keener and have some time then maybe give out flyers. There is banner facility here for you to download and print out banners, flyers and cards. Almost all shop keepers are happy to place a flyer somewhere prominent with some printed cards for people to take home with them. One poster placed in the right place can get a lot of looks. It doesn't require too much effort and does achieve a good result. Small action, big results.

If you haven't got a printer and a bit short on cash but have the time, we will pay a printer near you to print them out from other members who have donated for exactly this.

Okay, so if you are really keen, organise some of your family and friends and make your own campaign. You are best deciding what to do in your situation, but the idea is to group together in some way and make yourselves heard. Go to the city centre, your parliament house or embassy, or even go and stand outside UN if you can.

The bigger the numbers the bigger the impact.

Fax, Email and Phone Zimbabwe Regime

You can find the email addresses, fax and phone numbers of Zimbabwe government officials, Central Intelligence Organisation (CIO), Police Stations and Prison Security and many other government officials. Here is the list. Ring them up and ask them questions, tell them what you think. Fax messages to them, even if the line is busy, keep trying or look up another number to try. Email them with articles off the internet that you would like them to read -whatever, it's up to you. You can also visit their website http://www.gta.gov.zw and see what you can see.

Fax, Email and Phone SADC and UN

Tell them what you think of what they are doing, or more accurately, not doing in this case. Tell them what you expect from them or what you want to say - it's your voice. Send them messages that people have said in "Your Say". Your message will be heard amongst the thousands that join you.

You DO have the power to make a difference.
